Mr. Beard has been President and a Principal Investigator of Landmark Archaeological and Environmental Services since the company was founded in 1987. Prior to starting Landmark he was a Field Soils Geologist for the Indiana State Highway Commission, Division of Materials and Test, District Geologist for the Greenfield District of the Indiana Highway Commission, Branch Manager of a private soils and materials testing laboratory, and an Archaeologist and Environmental Specialist for the Indiana Department of Transportation, Division of Location and Environment. Mr. Beard brings to Landmark over thirty-three years of experience conducting archaeological, geotechnical, paleontological and environmental studies.
